SEO consultant · Knoxville, Tennessee

Good businesses.
Bad websites.
I fix the second part.

I'm an independent SEO consultant here in Knoxville. I go through your website like a picky customer with a red pen, hand you the list of what's costing you business — free — then fix it if you want it fixed.

What I do

Three jobs. One outcome:
customers find you and can actually reach you.

№ 01

Get found on Google

Pages for the towns you serve and the work you do, titles that say what you are, answers to the questions customers google at 9pm. The unglamorous stuff that moves you up the page — no tricks, no "guaranteed #1" nonsense.

№ 02

Fix what's quietly broken

Misspelled title tags. Links that go nowhere. Copyright dates stuck three years back. Each one small; together they tell customers "nobody's minding the store." I find them, list them, fix them.

№ 03

Stop losing after-hours leads

Online booking, instant quotes, and AI that answers "do y'all service Maryville?" at 9 on a Saturday night. Your website starts working the hours you can't — because that's when people search. More on the automation side →

How it works

The list comes before the invoice.

1.

I look at your site

The way a customer would, and the way Google does. Every finding names the page, the problem, and what it's costing you.

2.

You get the fix list FREE

Plain English. Hand it to your web person, do it yourself, or ignore it. It's yours either way — that's the point.

3.

I do the work, if you want

Pages written, fixes made, booking set up. You saw the list first, so you know exactly what you're paying for.

Found around town

Real things I found on Knoxville business websites this summer.

A plumbing company's blog title tag spells their own name wrong — "Plumbong." It shows that way in Google.
A company that's been in business since 1969 has a homepage with about 130 words on it. Google has almost nothing to rank.
A health practice's "Book Appointment" button links to nothing. It's a dead end on their busiest page.
A pest control company closes at 4pm with no way to book or get a quote online — and bugs don't keep office hours.
A roofer lists nine towns they serve. Eight of them have no page — so Google shows their competitors instead.

I've audited 30+ Knoxville small-business sites this summer. Most problems are this kind of thing: small, specific, and completely fixable. Odds are your site has a few too.

Who you're dealing with

One person. That's the whole org chart.

I'm Mark Indelicato. Knoxville local, marketing and web guy by trade. I work with the businesses I drive past every day.

I started this because I kept seeing the same thing around town: excellent businesses — companies with 30, 40, 50 years of reputation — losing customers to newer competitors with better websites. Not better companies. Better websites.

That gap doesn't take an agency retainer to close. It takes somebody local who'll actually look at your site, tell you plainly what's wrong, and do the work. When you email, you get me. When you call, same.

Straight answers

Questions people actually ask.

What does an SEO consultant in Knoxville cost?

Every job gets a fixed quote before any work starts — no retainers, no open-ended hourly billing to get going. The site check and fix list are free, so you'll know exactly what needs doing and what it costs before you spend a dollar.

Do I need a new website, or can mine be fixed?

Usually fixed. Most Knoxville small-business sites I audit don't need a rebuild — they need titles that say what the business does, pages for the towns they serve, and a way for customers to book or get a quote. That's repair work, not construction.

How is a solo consultant different from hiring an agency?

The person who audits your site, quotes the work, and does the work is the same person — me. No account managers, no handoffs, no minimum spend. The tradeoff is honest too: I take on a few clients at a time, not forty.

Do you only work with businesses in Knoxville?

Knoxville and anywhere the 865 reaches — Maryville, Oak Ridge, Farragut, Sevierville, and the rest of East Tennessee. Remote works fine, but being local means I can also just come by.
